X-Factored Youth aims to fill the void by creating a podcast that hosts discussions around topics that affect South African youth. We address challenges that affect the youth to use to use those challenges as a form of inspiration to identify greener pastures in which we can thrive.
We wish to encourage young individuals to join the trend and create content that speaks on excellence, extraordinariness, expertise, and the desire to exceed expectations in society.
Podcasting has taken the world by storm. With easier access to microphones and cameras, youth can create their own content and distribute it to a wide audience in seconds. Apart from this, the youth can identify a niche on topics that they wish to speak about, the youth can generate income simply by discussing their views and opinions on issues that affect the world. Being a content creator, or better yet, a time to be alive!
The downfall of this phenomenon is the fact that there are very few podcasts that speak to South African youth who want to become successful and high-performing. Instead, youth speak about topics related to music, entertainment, and sex. We are still yet to see a rise in podcasts that focus on youth development, and skills development.
